Wood Waste Removal Types And Grade Classification

Grade A: ‘clean’ wood

Wood that has not been previously processed or treated. Usually produced from pallets, scaffold boards, floorboard etc. Material must be free from contaminants such as paint and dirt, and not charred or rotten. This waste can be recycled into chipboard, animal bedding and mulches

Grade B and C

Lower graded wood waste material that have been previously recycled and can be used to produce waste to energy

Grade D

Hazardous wood waste. This includes all grades of wood that has been treated such as fencing or trackwork and needs to be disposed of at specialist facilities
